Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, at 633 East Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara, lists 50,582 sq ft of event space, including the 11,960 sq ft Grand Ballroom for up to 1,000 guests and lawns facing the Pacific. Above the Line provides audio, video, lighting and LED for conferences, galas and weddings across the resort.
The resort pairs two ballrooms and a run of meeting rooms with outdoor lawns, patios and a beach site. We size sound, video and lighting to each space from the resort's own chart.

For a 1,000-seat general session, we hang a center screen with two side screens on truss, and add delay speakers for the back rows.

For an awards dinner in the Santa Barbara Ballroom, we put a screen at each end of the room, so every table has a clear view of the slides.

For a U-shape meeting in Fiesta, we put a display at the head of the table, and add a speakerphone or camera bar when people join remotely.

For a reception on the Rotunda, we use small column speakers and battery uplights, so the ocean view stays open.

For an evening event on the Front Lawn, we light the palms, and aim the speakers out toward the ocean, away from the guest rooms.
